About the Course
Participants start with an approximately 2-hour online module, receiving a completion certificate. This will be followed up by the student’s participation in a few observation classes, during which they will co-teach with an instructor for a formal evaluation process. With the instructor’s satisfaction of the student, students will receive a 2-year instructor certificate giving them the credential to also instruct. Administrative work will also be covered during the hands-on session.

Benson Ngatia

My name is Benson Ngatia, and my journey into first aid began in a school in Kenya, East Africa, where I served as a Boy Scout providing basic care. Today, as a Firefighter and Paramedic in the Denver metro area, I’ve seen firsthand the tragic outcomes of lacking CPR and AED skills. That’s why I founded Keep Beating CPR—to ensure individuals and healthcare professionals have the life-saving techniques they need.
